Vincent Kompany urges caution ahead of PSG rematch: “Better stay home.”

Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany has made an unusual request to the club’s supporters following the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). In an effort to ensure maximum support during the return leg, Kompany emphasized the need for the most passionate fans to fill the Allianz Arena.

Kompany urged fans who may not be fully committed to the match to consider staying home and allowing their tickets to be used by more enthusiastic supporters. He stated,

“If someone bought a ticket but doesn’t feel well on matchday… stay home and give your ticket to someone who feels better and can help make this place the FORTRESS the Allianz Arena is meant to be. We have to win this match, and we need the full backing of 75,000 fans in the stadium. They need to play alongside us.”

The first encounter between PSG and Bayern Munich turned into a thrilling contest, concluding with a 5-4 victory for PSG. This high-scoring affair has set the stage for an eagerly anticipated rematch in Munich, with fans and players alike eager for a decisive outcome in this Champions League clash.

PSG vs Bayern Munich semi-final becomes the highest scoring in Champions League history.
