UEFA Reveals Top Player and Team of the Champions League Round

Details: Today UEFA has announced the Team of the Week, highlighting the top 11 players from the recent Champions League matches:
These players were recognized for their outstanding performance:
- Goalkeeper: Çakır (Galatasaray)
- Defenders: Nuno Mendes (PSG), Dier (Monaco), Gatti (Juventus), Dumfries (Inter).
- Midfielders: Hauge (Bodø/Glimt), Sabitzer (Borussia Dortmund), Ødegaard (Arsenal), Pépé (Villarreal).
- Forwards: Højlund (Napoli), Mbappé (Real Madrid).
The standout player of this Champions League round was Kylian Mbappé from Real Madrid, who scored a remarkable hat-trick against Kairat from Kazakhstan.
Reminder: Jude Bellingham was named England’s national team player of the season for 2024/25.
