Santi Cazorla Teases Retirement in Career Statement

The celebrated career of Santi Cazorla appears to be nearing its conclusion. The 41-year-old forward currently playing for Real Oviedo has indicated that he may retire at the end of the current season, according to reports from the reputable outlet Carrusel Deportivo.

In a recent interview, Cazorla shared his thoughts on retirement, stating, “I made this decision a few weeks ago. Everything has a beginning and an end, and in the coming days I will make it official. I fulfilled a childhood dream and I will continue to live it out in the remaining matches.”

Cazorla’s professional journey began in 2004 with Villarreal, and he has since played for notable clubs including Málaga, Arsenal, and Al Sadd before joining Real Oviedo. Additionally, he has represented the Spanish national team 81 times, netting 15 goals during his international career.
