Real Madrid Monitors Promising 19-Year-Old Dutch Talent

Can be signed for a modest fee.

Even with the transfer window closed, clubs are still working on signings. Scouting teams and directors are keeping an eye on players for future opportunities, and Real Madrid is currently doing just that.

Details: According to Mundo Deportivo, Real Madrid is interested in 19-year-old midfielder Kees Smit from AZ Alkmaar. The Dutch player has been on their radar for some time and could have joined the club this summer. However, they decided to keep Dani Ceballos instead.

Reports from the Netherlands indicate that Real Madrid is still very keen on signing Smit, who is aware of their interest. He could be acquired for around €20 million, but there’s competition from other clubs. Manchester City, Chelsea, and Bayern Munich are also looking at the promising young player.

Reminder: Previous reports suggested that Manchester City was considering a move for Real defender Trent Alexander-Arnold.
