PSG loses crucial player before facing Bayern

The Parisians face a tough challenge in the first leg against Munich.

PSG fans have received some unfortunate news.

Details: According to FootMercato, 26-year-old Vitinha, a defensive midfielder for PSG and the Portugal national team, was injured during yesterday’s Ligue 1 match against Lyon.

He has been diagnosed with inflammation in his left heel and is currently receiving treatment. After this, he will enter a recovery phase.

Sources say that Vitinha’s availability for the first leg of the semi-final against Bayern on March 28 is highly uncertain. Coach Luis Enrique will need to find a replacement for the Portuguese midfielder.

Vitinha left the pitch in the 39th minute of the match, unable to continue due to significant discomfort.

This season, he has made 45 appearances, scoring 7 goals and providing 10 assists.

Reminder: PSG has lost more matches this season than in the previous two seasons combined.
