Pirates Secure Victory to Edge Closer to Sundowns

Orlando Pirates secured a vital 1-0 victory over Polokwane City in the Betway Premiership.

Tshepang Moremi scored the only goal just five minutes into the match, giving the Pirates the lead and clinching the three points.

This win takes coach Abdeslam Ouaddou’s team to 18 points after eight matches, putting them three points behind leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, who have two games in hand.

Next, they will face Saint-Eloi Lupopo in the second round of the CAF Champions League preliminary round.
