Nicolas Jackson might remain at Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich‘s Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson has garnered positive attention from manager Vincent Kompany, who is reportedly interested in retaining him beyond his current loan period.

Jackson joined Bayern on loan from Chelsea last summer, with an obligation to buy. Recent speculation indicated that Bayern might not extend his stay, but new reports suggest a shift in this outlook.

According to The Sun, Kompany values Jackson’s contributions and attitude, and is advocating for the club to keep him when his loan concludes in June. Bayern’s management is also impressed by the striker’s role throughout the season, although no final decision has yet been made regarding his future.

This season, Jackson has served as a key player, particularly as an understudy to Harry Kane, recording nine goals and three assists in 28 matches across all competitions.
