Milan eyes Premier League’s top defender

The AC Milan club, known as the “Rossoneri,” is reportedly focusing on signing Manchester City’s experienced central defender, John Stones.

With Stones’ departure during the summer transfer window deemed inevitable, Milan views the 31-year-old as a key addition to strengthen their defense. Reports from TUTTOmercatoWEB indicate that the club is particularly interested in acquiring Stones on a free transfer, as his contract with Manchester City is set to expire at the end of the current season and will not be renewed.

This season, Stones has made only 16 appearances for Manchester City, a situation that has reportedly left him dissatisfied. He is keen on finding a club where he can secure more regular playing time. AC Milan is optimistic about meeting both his financial requirements and his desire for increased minutes on the field.

According to Transfermarkt, John Stones’ market value is currently estimated at €15 million.
