Mason Greenwood nearing return to the Premier League

Mason Greenwood is poised for a potential move from Marseille as soon as the upcoming summer transfer window. The forward has attracted interest from Tottenham Hotspur, particularly from their new head coach, Roberto De Zerbi, who holds a high regard for Greenwood’s talent and has developed a strong personal rapport with him.

Tottenham is actively considering an acquisition of Greenwood to enhance their attacking options. However, the club’s ability to solidify its Premier League status by season’s end remains a crucial factor in any potential transfer.

For Greenwood, this would represent a significant opportunity to reestablish himself in English football after several years away, following his tenure at Manchester United from 2019 to 2024. This season, he has made 43 appearances for Marseille, scoring 25 goals and providing 10 assists, with Transfermarkt valuing him at €55 million.

Reminder: Manchester United midfielder Casemiro will continue his career at Inter Miami.
