Manchester United star set to join new club amid pay cut

Manchester United midfielder Casemiro is expected to depart from the club at the conclusion of the current season, despite a strong performance in the latter half of the campaign under the management of Michael Carrick.

Sky Sports reports that the Brazilian player is no longer hopeful about remaining at Old Trafford and is exploring options in Major League Soccer (MLS). Inter Miami, the team featuring Lionel Messi, has emerged as the primary contender for Casemiro’s signature.

Casemiro is reportedly willing to accept a considerable pay cut for the chance to join a team in the United States. A significant factor in his decision is the prospect of playing alongside Messi, with whom he has shared a long-standing rivalry during his time at Real Madrid and Messi’s tenure at Barcelona.

Additionally, the Los Angeles Galaxy have expressed interest in securing the services of the former Real Madrid midfielder; however, Inter Miami is currently regarded as the leading candidate to sign him.
