Manchester City’s leader is set to depart the club

Manchester City has officially announced the conclusion of its 10-year partnership with defender John Stones. The 31-year-old’s contract is set to expire on June 30, and both parties have agreed not to extend the agreement.

Stones, who joined Manchester City from Everton in 2016, leaves the club having made 293 appearances, scored 19 goals, and provided 9 assists. Throughout his decade at City, he established himself as a key figure during the club’s successful era under manager Pep Guardiola.

During his time at Manchester City, Stones accumulated an impressive collection of 19 trophies. His achievements include six Premier League titles, a Champions League trophy, two FA Cups, five League Cups, three Community Shields, a Club World Cup victory, and a UEFA Super Cup win.
