Manchester City’s pricey signing may head to Serie A

Juventus is reportedly working on a bid to bring midfielder Tijjani Reijnders back to Italy. The 27-year-old Dutch player has struggled to make an impact under Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.

As per La Gazzetta Dello Sport, Reijnders, who is also a member of the Netherlands national team, might be heading back to Serie A this summer. Juventus is preparing to make an offer to Manchester City, as Reijnders has not fulfilled expectations since his arrival.

The Italian club views Reijnders as a suitable addition because of his prior experience in Serie A. However, a complete transfer appears financially unfeasible for Juventus at this time, prompting them to consider a loan option for the midfielder.

Reijnders moved to Manchester City last summer from AC Milan for €55 million. This season, he has made 45 appearances, scoring 7 goals and providing 8 assists. However, his recent decline in starting opportunities could favor Juventus in their pursuit of securing the midfielder.

Tijjani Reijnders’ current market value is estimated at €60 million by Transfermarkt.
