Manchester City sets sights on Chelsea’s top player

The Citizens are reportedly eyeing a move to secure Enzo Fernández from Chelsea, aiming to exploit his troubled relationship with the club’s management.

According to The Athletic, Manchester City is preparing an offer for the 25-year-old central midfielder. City hopes to capitalize on Enzo’s strained rapport with Chelsea’s hierarchy, as he is viewed as a potential replacement for the departing Rodri.

Enzo Fernández has expressed a desire to leave Chelsea at the end of the season, further fueling speculation about his future. Alongside Manchester City, Real Madrid is also competing for his signature and has made the Argentine their top target for the upcoming summer transfer window.

This season, Fernández has made 48 appearances for Chelsea, contributing 12 goals and providing 6 assists. His current contract with Chelsea is valid until 2032, and Transfermarkt assigns him a market value of 90 million euros.

It has emerged what one of the reasons was for Rosenior’s dismissal
