Lavezzi Faces Blackmail and Intimate Video Scandal

Former PSG and Napoli striker Ezequiel Lavezzi has become embroiled in a significant scandal following his retirement from professional football. The Argentine, renowned for his on-field performances and tumultuous personal life, faces accusations of being involved in a blackmail case related to intimate video footage.

The situation reportedly began after Lavezzi’s exit from football in December 2019, specifically during the COVID-19 pandemic. He traveled to Saint Barthélemy with Brazilian model Natalia Borges, a relationship that raised eyebrows as Borges was previously linked to one of Lavezzi’s close friends. Their romance became public when they shared photos of their getaway on social media.

Former partner Yanina Screpante later confirmed that Borges had previously dated Lavezzi’s friend, criticizing the ex-striker’s actions and suggesting a troubling pattern. Screpante alleged that Lavezzi started his relationship with Borges before she had officially ended her previous romance, adding weight to her claims of recurring issues in his personal life.

The scandal intensified with allegations of blackmail, as unidentified individuals threatened to release intimate videos and photos of Lavezzi and Borges unless they received around £4,000 for each file. A source close to the couple indicated that the blackmailers contacted them via social media and detailed the content they possessed, which heightened their threats. Although Lavezzi’s relationship with Borges concluded in 2022, it was reported that he attempted to reconnect with her while his new partner was expecting a child.
