La Liga Club Announces Departure of Head Coach

Details: Villarreal’s official account on social media platform X announced today that the 60-year-old Spanish head coach, Marcelino, will leave his position at the end of the current season.

The club’s management has chosen not to renew Marcelino’s contract, which expires this summer. They highlighted their deep appreciation for his contributions and expressed gratitude for his achievements during his time with the team.

Marcelino has been at the helm of Villarreal since 2023, marking his second tenure with the club, having previously managed from 2013 to 2016.
