Ivory Coast U20 Women’s Team Kicks Off Training Camp

A squad of 29 players has been selected for the Ivory Coast U20 women’s team as they prepare for a crucial training camp ahead of the fourth and final round of the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup, set to take place in Poland. The team is focusing on strategic enhancements as they gear up for their two-legged tie against Benin on May 2 and 10.

Head coach Mathieu Esposito expressed confidence in his team’s preparations, aiming for a historic qualification for the World Cup. The team will first host Benin on Saturday, May 2, at the Stade Alassane Ouattara in Ebimpé before traveling to Lomé, Togo, for the return leg on Sunday, May 10, at the Stade de Kégué.
