Ismaël Doukoure Plans to Switch His Sporting Nationality

Ismaël Doukoure, a defender from Strasbourg, has initiated the necessary steps to represent the Ivorian national football team. This move marks a significant shift in his career, as Doukoure will no longer play for France at the international level, having previously participated in under-19, under-20, under-21, and under-23 teams.

Doukoure recently visited the Ivorian Consulate in Paris to complete the administrative procedures and obtain his Ivorian passport. This step is crucial for his potential change in sporting nationality.

As the FIFA World Cup approaches, set to take place this summer in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, Doukoure’s switch to the Ivorian squad could see him included in Emerse Faé’s team for the tournament.
