Inter’s captain might retire from football this summer

The future of Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan is uncertain as he weighs his options. Insider Fabrizio Romano reports that the Armenian veteran has been contemplating retirement since February, leaving the Nerazzurri management awaiting a decision regarding his future.

Mkhitaryan’s contract is set to expire in June, and he is expected to make a decisive announcement soon. The midfielder faces a choice between extending his career at the highest level or stepping away from professional football for good.
