Erling Haaland Scores in His Tenth Straight Match: What Can Be Done to Stop Him?

Erling Haaland continues to score for Manchester City and the Norwegian national team. In the World Cup qualifier against Israel, he added another goal to his record.

Norway regained possession in their half and quickly launched a counterattack, which Haaland finished expertly, increasing their lead. He has now scored in ten straight games for both his club and country.

Shortly after, Norway’s advantage grew even more with another own goal. Earlier in the match, it’s important to note that Haaland missed two penalties, both saved by Hamburg goalkeeper Daniel Peretz.

Norway is now close to qualifying for the World Cup finals for the first time since 1998. They are on track for their sixth consecutive victory and will complete their qualifying campaign in November with matches against Estonia and Italy.
