Five Candidates Selected for Mali Head Coach Role

The Malian Football Federation has initiated a search for a new coach following the departure of Tom Saintfiet. The call for applications was issued immediately after his exit.

In response, the federation received and evaluated a total of 28 applications. From these, five candidates have been shortlisted based on their qualifications. The selected individuals are Florent Ibenge from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Mohamed Magassouba from Mali, Badou Zaki from Morocco, as well as António Conceição and Anthony Da Silva from Portugal.

The shortlisted candidates will undergo interviews with the Malian Football Federation’s Commission. After these discussions, the most suitable candidate will be recommended to the Federation’s Executive Committee for a final decision.
