Bayern Munich Make It 16 Wins in a Row, Beat PSG With 10 Men

Bayern Munich continued its winning run with a victory in its 16th match of the season. The team defeated PSG in Paris 2-1 for their fourth straight win in the Champions League. The result puts the German team at the top of their group. Bayern took an early lead when Luis Diaz scored in the fourth minute. PSG’s Dembele later scored a goal, but it was ruled out for offside after a VAR check. Paris suffered another blow when Dembele had to leave the pitch with an injury. In the 32nd minute, Luis Diaz capitalized on a significant mistake by PSG captain Marquinhos to score his second goal.

A key moment occurred just before halftime when Luis Diaz made a dangerous foul on Hakimi. The referee, after a VAR review, changed his initial yellow card to a red card. Down to ten players, Bayern faced increased attacks from Paris in the second half. However, goalkeeper Neuer made several important saves. Paris pulled a goal back in the 74th minute when substitute Joao Neves scored from a cross by another substitute, Lee. Despite many attempts, Paris could not find another goal to avoid defeat. Bayern held on to win, continuing their impressive performance streak even with a numerical disadvantage.
