Chelsea Player Carried Off on Stretcher in First Half Against Nottingham Forest

A frightening incident unfolded at Stamford Bridge during the 35th round of the English Premier League match between Chelsea and Nottingham Forest. The match took a distressing turn when Chelsea’s 18-year-old winger, Jesse Derry, suffered a severe head injury as he challenged Nottingham defender Zak Abbott.

As the first half neared its conclusion, Chelsea was trailing 0-2 when Derry’s injury occurred. Referee Anthony Taylor awarded a penalty to Chelsea, but Derry was unable to continue and was subsequently stretchered off the pitch.
