Cameroon’s U17 national team kicks off training camp

The Cameroonian national football team is currently preparing for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations. The training camp officially commenced on Monday, April 20, in Yaoundé.

During the first training session, attended by 30 players, head coach Saidou Alioum and his technical staff led the practice. The team has planned two additional training sessions on Tuesday, April 21.

This final training camp will culminate in two friendly matches on Wednesday, April 22, at the Ngoa Ekelle Stadium in Yaoundé. In related news, Cameroon’s U17 team recently clinched the title at the 2026 UNIFFAC tournament, securing a place in the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations.
