Palace and Brighton Return to Winning Ways; Wolves Suffer Another Defeat

Crystal Palace has returned to winning ways in the English Premier League after a recent loss to Arsenal. They secured a 2-0 victory over Brentford, a result that lifts them to seventh place in the league standings. The scoring was opened in the 30th minute by Mateta, who converted a pass from Lerma. An own goal from Collins in the 51st minute confirmed the win for Palace. Brighton, who had lost their previous match to Manchester United, also made a successful comeback. They defeated Leeds comfortably with a 3-0 score. Danny Welbeck scored the first goal for Brighton, while Diego Gomez added two more to complete the tally.

Meanwhile, Wolves’ search for a victory continues as they remained winless after their tenth league game. They suffered a 3-0 defeat against Fulham. This marks the eighth loss for Wolves, who are at the bottom of the league table with just two draws. Interestingly, the team had a similar start last season, failing to win any of their first 10 matches. In the game against Fulham, Wolves were down to 10 players after Emmanuel was shown a red card. Ryan Sessegnon and Harry Wilson found the net for Fulham. The third goal was an own goal conceded by Yerson Mosquera. The continued poor form has resulted in growing protests from the club’s supporters.
