Barcelona Pursues Transfer of African Talent

Catalan giants Barcelona are making strides in securing one of the most promising young talents from the Belgian league. The club is reportedly interested in signing 18-year-old Jesse Bisiwu, a winger currently at Club Brugge who possesses both Ghanaian and Belgian citizenship.

Florian Plettenberg has indicated that Barcelona’s pursuit of Bisiwu has entered a more concrete phase, with the young player already on the radar of the Barça scouts. Bisiwu operates on the left flank and has a contract with Club Brugge that runs until 2027.

Regarded as one of the brightest prospects from Club Brugge’s academy, Bisiwu has shown enthusiasm about a potential transfer to Spain, revealing his admiration for the Catalan club. Notably, he has yet to make his debut for the senior team at Club Brugge.
