Barcelona Sets Sights on Manchester United Youngster Gabriel
Barcelona is reportedly making a strong effort to sign Manchester United‘s 15-year-old youth player, Gabriel. He is considered a major future prospect at United, having scored an impressive 10 goals in 10 games for the under-18 team this season. An England U-16 international, Gabriel marked himself as one of Europe’s top young talents after scoring a hat-trick in a match where United defeated Liverpool 7-0.
Manchester United is working hard to keep Gabriel at the club. According to reports, Football Director Jason Wilcox has convinced the young player and his family to stay for the current season and the next one.
Coach Ruben Amorim has personally met with Gabriel and has also included him in first-team training. This step highlights the club’s new commitment to promoting young players under Amorim’s leadership.
Although Barcelona’s famous ‘La Masia’ academy is a major attraction, United’s offer of a faster path to the senior team may help in keeping the player at the club.
