Arsenal Made History in the UEFA Champions League – What Did They Accomplish?

A unique milestone.

Arsenal faced Sporting in the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals and secured a 1–0 away victory, marking a significant achievement for the club.

Details: According to Squawka, this is the first time in their history that the Gunners have reached the UEFA Champions League semi-finals in back-to-back seasons. Previously, they had never achieved consecutive appearances at this stage.

Last year, Arsenal made it to the semi-finals but were eliminated by PSG. This time, they will take on Atlético Madrid.

However, in the second half, London winger Noni Madueke suffered an injury in the 60th minute. Despite receiving medical attention, he was unable to continue and had to leave the pitch.

Reminder: Immediately after the final whistle, emotions ran high, leading some Real Madrid players to confront the referee.
