Antonio Rüdiger Slaps Real Madrid Staff Member During Training

Discipline within the Real Madrid squad is facing serious scrutiny following an incident involving defender Antonio Rüdiger. A video circulating on social media platform X depicts the 33-year-old German centre-back striking a team staff member during a training session.

In the footage, Rüdiger is observed arguing with the team’s equipment manager before pretending to strike him. After the staff member made a remark in response, Rüdiger approached and slapped him across the face in front of his teammates. This incident has stirred significant outrage among Real Madrid supporters, who highlight that it is not the first disciplinary issue involving Rüdiger, yet the club has remained silent on the matter.

Previously, Rüdiger was reported to have physically confronted teammate Álvaro Carreras in the dressing room, which reportedly disrupted the team’s atmosphere. Fans are questioning the lack of response from the club regarding Rüdiger’s actions.

Rudiger já tinha tido outro problema assim, pode parecer na “brincadeira”, mas é falta de respeito total, com um membro do corpo técnico e agora com o Carreras.

E nada de notificação e punição do clube, ao contrário, vai ganhar uma renovação.

In a reflection on prior incidents, Álvaro Carreras commented on the earlier dressing room altercation with Rüdiger, describing it as “an isolated incident.”
