Another key Arsenal player might miss the match against Sporting. What’s going on?

More setbacks.

Arsenal is gearing up for the second leg of their UEFA Champions League match against Sporting, but new challenges have arisen.

Details: James Benge from CBS reports that England midfielder Declan Rice missed the Gunners’ final training session before facing the Portuguese team.

His availability for the match is now uncertain. Additionally, Martin Ødegaard, Bukayo Saka, Jurriën Timber, and Riccardo Calafiori will also be sidelined for this encounter.

The match is set for Wednesday, April 15, at the Emirates Stadium with a kick-off at 21:00 CET. Arsenal won the first leg 1-0.

In transfer news, Arsenal is ramping up their efforts in the market and has pinpointed a key target for the summer. Newcastle winger Anthony Gordon has caught the eye of Mikel Arteta’s squad.

Reminder: During the match between Chelsea and City, cameras captured a City fan who not only celebrated his team’s victory but also mocked one of their main title rivals — Arsenal.
