A German refereeing team has been appointed for one of the season’s most significant matches, as the football world eagerly anticipates the Champions League final.
Details: UEFA announced today the officiating team for the Champions League final between London’s Arsenal and France’s Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). The match will feature 42-year-old German referee Daniel Siebert as the main official, assisted by fellow Germans Jan Seidel and Rafael Foltyn.
The fourth official for the match will be Switzerland’s Sandro Schärer, while the reserve assistant referee is Guadalupe Porras Ayuso from Spain. VAR duties will be overseen by Bastian Dankert and Robert Schröder from Germany, along with Carlos Del Cerro Grande from Spain.
The Champions League final is scheduled for May 30 at the Puskás Aréna in Budapest.
